Why did I get involved?

I got involved in starting The Restore Project because I could not ignore the growing struggles I was seeing in young people—mental health challenges, bullying, broken relationships, and families under pressure. Having spent years working in the community and volunteering with different causes, I knew the difference that the right support at the right time can make.

I also knew I couldn’t do it alone. That’s why I joined with three amazing individuals who share the same heart and vision. Together, we wanted to fill the gap left when services were cut, and create something that brings hope and practical solutions.

For me, it’s about compassion in action — standing alongside young people and families, helping them feel heard, valued, and equipped for a brighter future.
